The Howard Academy Story
In the summer of 2004, in the remote area of what was previously known as Howard Airforce Base, Director Tania Fleming opened the doors of a new bilingual school for families located in the western region of Panama City. Chosen on account of her familiarity of that very establishment from years prior when the U.S. military occupied the area until 1999.
The history of the school has not been without incident. When it first opened on August 6th, 2004, it was one of three business in a vastly rural region and welcomed a handful of students. With much passion and hard work from a dedicated team, Howard Academy has been able to grow.
